В 1971 году гитарист Брайан Мэй и барабанщик Роджер Тейлор, игравшие вместе в группе Smile, решили создать собственную группу. К ним немедленно присоединился их старинный приятель Фредди Меркьюри, прекрасно игравший на фортепиано и обладавший великолепным голосом, а затем отыскался и басист Джон Дикон. Именно этой четверке и было суждено перевернуть умы всего мира, смешав хард-рок, оперу и даже диско - ни одна группа в мире не оставила столь разнообразного, но при этом отличающегося безукорихненным вкусом наследия.

Начинали Queen как многие в 70-е - первые два альбома представляют собой концептуальные работы с единой структурой и даже сюжетом (особенно это касается пластинки Queen II, которая - практически мини-рок-опера о борьбе Черной и Белой Королев). Но при…
