ФЕСТИВАЛЬ  Magnits Give Rise to Heavy Metal

Art-Platform is a project begun in 1995. In one of the Magnitogorsk concert halls (something like the Moscow Gorbunov Hall) they got together a lot of local alternatives, while others came from neighboring cities- Chelyabinsk, Satka. Now the fourth annual rock-festival is being held currently in Magnitogorsk. This time, young bands from Ufa, Volgograd, Ekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, and Orenburg will visit this metal factory city. The jury chairman almost always was the founder of the legenday Ariel, Valeri Yarushin, while without the energy of Leonid Golitsin- the Art-Platform festival probably wouldn't have lasted as long as it did. Today it is the largest regional presentation of amateur art-rock.
