Viacom and CBS Merge

Viacom, company owns TV stations network, Paramount Pictures company, MTV, bought CBS TV channel for 34.5 billion dollars. This is the biggest merge ever in the whole history of mass media. United company is able to cover the spheres of interest of all the age groups.

in Seventies Viacom and CNN were divisions of the same company. Now they reunited and their common company will function under the name Viacom. News will continue to be broadcasted under the CBS logo.
