The second American Maximum Rock tour of Motley Crew will start on June 24 in the city of George, Washington. There are reports that the tour, meant to go along with the June 20 release of the album New Tattoo, will include the participation of Megadeath. "Maximum Rock will be dangerous and unpredictable, just as a rock-n-roll concert should be," Vince Nail said.
On August 11 1999, during last year's Maximum Rock, the group's bassist, Niki Sixx was arrested for violence during the concert in Los Vegas. The charge was not proven.
On September 3, Sixx was arrested a second time in Raleigh, North Carolina, again for violence, and was detained for 30 days. So while Sixx is in Motley Crew, they won't have any problems with "real rock-n-roll."
It was reported that their new album's sound is reminiscent of their old work. Instead of drummer Tommy Lee, however, who left the group a year ago, is Randy Castillio.
