ЧЕРНЫЙ ХЛЕБ  Rye Bread

"Rye Bread" blues and rhythm-n-blues Moscow band, known better as "Agranovsky Group" gives concerts October 2 and 8. As they play closer to the roots, they avoid bigger venues for the sake of smaller clubs where both musicians and audience have a feeling of the intimacy of music, mutual understanding and co-creation. This is a must for a real blues. Let's face it: blues is not a concert music but a club one.

October 2 "Rye Bread"perform in "Red Square Jazz Bar". It's in the building of National Historical Museum in the Red Square. They start at 9p.m., the fee is Rbl 50.

October 8 they play in "Polnolunie" ("Full Moon") It's Bolshoy Karetny per., 2, Zvetnoy Boulevard metro station. Rbl 50 in case you have a flyer.

Eya Mozkobili sings with the band. It's a pity that it's not so often she exposes herself to an audience. For a last few years she sings almost solely with with blues and R-n-B crews. That's her love, but in general she is not limited by any style niche. Eya's voice, powerful yet flexible and expressive, resembling no one, lets her be at home both in rock and meanwhile in singing ballads to an acoustic guitar. There was a time when she took a flute in the breaks. Let's hope those times will come back. But whatever she sings, she sings it from under her skin. She lives through the lyrics, she makes any song her own. Even more rare is the opportunity to hear her own compositions, and that is not right! Eya writes on music and she is being published in a serious editions. She found and for several years kept a "Cry Baby" club - a place known for a friendly atmosphere and always great live music. Still, her call is singing. That is what she's gonna be doing on October 2 and 8.
