ЧИЧЕРИНА  Too Hot for a Party

On May 28 in St. Petersburg the group Chicherina held a shooting session for the music video of the song ⌠Heat.■ The session took place in an old abandoned house on the embankment of the Obvodnoi canal, also not far from the St. Isaac Cathedral- in other words, one of the most historic parts of the center of St. Petersburg. According to the plot of the video, Julia Chicherina wakes up in her room among dolls, mice and other toys, only to realize that she is about to miss her date. She leaves the house┘ and her trip passes through two worlds- she falls asleep while walking and dreams, at other moments waking up, so that it is impossible to tell apart the dreams from the waking reality. All around her catastrophes begin to happen- everything is either suddenly on fire, or spontaneously explodes. In order to film the explosions, the crew had to blow up one of the rooms of the house they were filming in several times, rearranging everything in the room after each explosion so it could fly into the air anew every time. The most dangerous scene was one where a large group of people was dancing in a room that was on fire- fortunately, everything turned out safely enough.
The ⌠Heat■ video should already be out on television, and the album will be release on July 14. On June 14, however, the maxi-single ⌠Tulula,■ which will include ⌠Heat,■ should already be out.
