Last week the Super Furry Animals played their first concert since the beginning of the year in Great Britain in the All Tomorrow's Parties festival. The program consisted mostly of songs from their new album in Welsh- "Mwng," which is awaiting its release in May. The group's vocalist, Gruff Rhys, addressed the audience with the following words: "Today you will serve as guinea pigs. We have never before performed these songs in public. We hope that you like them, even if you can't understand a word." The album will be preceded by the release of the single with the unpronounceable title "Ysbiediau Heulog," which will come out on May 1 in a limited number of vinyl copies.
