Dream Theater's Tour Has Begun... But Not in Russia

One of the most popular American hard-rock groups DREAM THEATER started off another of its European tours on March 24- this time, to support the recently released album "METROPOLIS PART 2: SCENES FROM A MEMORY." The English magazine "Classic Rock" called this "the best album of 1999." The tour will continue until the end of April. For May, Dream Theater plans a corresponding tour in Asia.

The European tour, however, was supposed to start not on the 24th, but on March 20. And the group's schedule included three concerts in Russia- on March 20, 21, and 22. But Dream Theater's management apparently decided that Russian concert agencies were "unreliable" and so rescheduled the group's plans.
