Hall of Fame 2000

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation announced the of nominees for 2000. Eric Clapton, Aerosmith and Queen heads the list. Also on the ballot are: Black Sabbath, Solomon Burke, Earth, Wind & Fire, the O'Jays, the Moonglows, Lovin' Spoonful, Bonnie Raitt, Lou Reed, Steely Dan, James Taylor and Ritchie Valens. All of them had their debut album released not less than 25 years ago.

The final decision will be known at the award ceremony January 2000. More than 800 artists, broadcasters, music industry executives, producers and writers have to mail their decision to the commetee.
