КОРОЛЬ И ШУТ  Korol i Shut in Yubileiny

"Korol i Shut" ("A King and a Joker"), a bright art-punk act from St. Petersburg gives a show in DS "Yubileiny" (St.Petersburg) on October 10. They present a new program titled "Folks Ate Meat". It will be the final concert of the tour. A program contains 10 new songs which never been recorded. The show promise exceptional stage design, fireworks and some unannounced in advance surprises.

The band is already 11 years old. And in spite of not changing the approach and style in general, every album and concert program do not copy each other. The mood is different on every album, the arrangements vary... Their last album was just acoustic (simply titled "The acoustic album"). Next album musicians mean to be more humorous, "joker-ish" and wicked at the same time. They plan to start working on it just after the Yubileiny show and finish before December. The title is to be decided after the recording will be over. But there is already a video clip on title song of the tour, "Folks ate meat".

The group do not have mobs of insane fans, but you can see graffiti with their logo on the walls not only in their home town. In Moscow an other big cities there are quite many of those who attend their shows at any occasion and consider King and Joker the most interesting and exciting act in Russia.
