Олег ГАЗМАНОВ  New Song First Heard in a Hospital

Yesterday in the military clinical hospital singer Oleg Gazmanov visited wounded soldiers who were being rehabilitated there. They were presented with his new song "Rodniki," and were not only the first to listen to it, but the first to judge. A department head of the Defense Ministry, General Major Alexander Kalita and the Russian singer presented the soldiers with compact disks. The meeting of Oleg Gazmanov with soldiers who had fought in Afghanistan and Chechnya as well as World War II veterans has already become a tradition. General Major Ivan Kalita reported that for his actions Oleg Gazmanov will be awarded a medal "For Military Partnership."
Currently the military hospital has over 50 military servicemen that were wounded during the military operation in the Northern Caucasus.
