BLINK-182 

The group Blink 182 has agreed to participate in a performance called Punk Rock Prom, which will be held on May 6 in Los Angeles as part of a contest organized by the local radio station, KROQ.
In the contest, which has already been in effect since April 10, school students will have an opportunity to win a 25 minute performance by Blink 182 on the territory of their school, as well as a $10,000 prize.
The contest is to continue until April 29.
In addition to the prizes, Blink 182 plans to give out gold and platinum disks of its album "Enema of the State" to ten of the participants. In case of a tie, there will be a spelling test to determine the winner of the grand prize. By the way, a special condition of the contract the group signed with the radio station says that the members of Blink 182 are not to run around the school naked or to provoke students in any way. They say that this condition was insisted on by the director of the radio station, who was still under dubious impressions after having seen the group's debut music video. A week after the performance, Blink 182 will start a tour called "The Mark, Tom and Travis Show."
