PUFF DADDY  Jennifer Lopez, Puff Daddy Arrested On Weapons Charges

Puff Daddy, Jennifer Lopez, and two others were charged with illegal possession of a firearm on Monday after police say they found a stolen gun in a vehicle the entourage was riding in following a shooting at a New York nightclub.

Police stopped Combs, Lopez, and two others as the group was driving away from midtown Manhattan's Club New York where three people were shot Monday night. Authorities charge that when they stopped the vehicle, they spotted a gun and then took the group in for questioning. Police continued to question Combs and Lopez through the wee hours of the morning and into Monday afternoon, when they were finally officially charged. The couple and two others have been charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property. Associated Press reports that police are investigating eyewitness accounts that Puffy fired a gun at the club. Three clubgoers were injured in the shooting. Rapper Shyne was arrested following the shooting and charged with criminal possession of a weapon. At press time, Combs and Lopez remained in custody in Manhattan's Midtown South precinct.
