Threats of the critics and dream of the punks have come true: KOROL I SHUT band has taken avay all the Kinchev's audience - 14-16-year old gangsters. Gorshok and Knyaz have occupied a place in the pantheone of ideologists of the General Movement to the Terrible Tomorrow. Natural - fastidious grimaces of the pretty mainstream fans ("ugh, punks ") and wincing of the TV-hostesses' - all this is аlready in the past. Today it is necessary for them, whatever you want it or not, to consider the audience of KOROL I SHUT, to remove their stylish clothes and to dress themselves in the torn jeans, in order to go on interview with the teenagers' idols. The idols, to tell you the truth, have no speech culture, they smell of sweet mash "Molotov-cocktail", which they advertise for the kids. But afterwards one can edit them, retouch, and, by the way, the smell doesn't pass through the TV-screen. So what kiddies like them for? For their black-and-red aesthetics, for the pretty hard-rock tunes, for touching marginal ballads. And why do I respect them so? For their sequence, for their growth, for their skill to hold the audience, for the fact that their admirers, who have covered all the walls in my neighbourhood with names of Gorshok and Knyaz, usually dump after them on performances to anywhere all over the country, and therefore the punk movement decreases in my district - at least for a day.
