On May 15 the label Manchester Files will be releasing another one of Auktsyon's albums, which was preceded by two singles: ⌠There Will Be No Winter,■ and ⌠The Sky in Half.■ An official concert presentation of the album ⌠There Will Be No Winter■ will take place on May 26 in the Estrada Theater in St. Petersburg. It should be noted that Leonid Federov, the group's leader, does not characterize this album as the work of Auktsyon; most likely, the cover will present the ensemble as ⌠Fedorov-Volkov-Kurashev,■ like on the first single (in the recent past Leonid Fedorov mostly performed with the group Volkovtrio, which is lead by Vladimir Volkov, and which includes, apart from Kurashev, Denis Sladkevich as the drummer). The album was written and recorded in 1998-99 in the Documentary Film Studio in St. Petersburg. Apart from the above mentioned musicians, the work on the album included the participation, where the lyrics were concerned, of Dmitri Ozersky and sometimes the poet Henri Volokhonsky, one of the authors of the poem ⌠Heaven. The famous folk-musician Sergei Starostin (known for his work with Inna Zhelannaya), the jazzman Yuri Parfenov (tuba), and the choir ⌠Sirin■ also took part in the recordings.
