The Sony Company signed a contract with the group B-2. The agreement includes the condition that the group's releases will be included in the international Sony catalogue along with other artists working under this label, such as Santana, Jamiroquai, and Aerosmith. Currently B-2 is preparing a promotion tour for their album "B-2" and planning its release, the recording for which will take place towards the end of summer.
By the way, this is not the first attempt that Sony Music has made towards contracts with Russian groups. In the early 1990's, the company tried to sign a contract for the release of Grebenschikov's English album, but their efforts were unsuccessful. The two sides couldn't come to an agreement about the way the album was to sound. This time, Sony apparently has a more promising relationship.
