After some doubts, the Belorussian group Lyapis Trubetskoi decided to included remixes for several of its compositions in its new album "Heavy," scheduled to be released in May by Real Records. The remix album "Lyapis-Dance," which was a success at various discotheques, was released practically without the group's participation and certainly without their approval. The musicians were from the start against the idea of making remixes on their compositions. However, the successful sales of the album caused Lyapis to reconsider. In its final release the album will include several remixes, but the group has already chosen some of their makers. The song "Sport Has Passed" was redone by the group Leningrad, while two other compositions are being remixed by a very unusual cult group from St. Petersburg, Karibasy. The results of this rather unusual union will be included into the so-called "expensive" release of the album "Heavy" as bonus tracks. However, it is unlikely that Lyapis will stop at that. According to unofficial information, after "Heavy," the group plans to release another album, completely composed of remixes.
