March 25 will be the last day of the Moscow regional folk song festival "April-2000." An RIA News Agency correspondent asked festival juror Dmitri Gorbunov some questions.

And the other answered: "Last weekend the second round of auditions for folk singers took place, and it included the participation of 15 artists from Mytischi, Korolev, Orekhovo-Zuevo and other towns. The total number of contestants that will make it to the finale will be 50. Apart from the Grand Prize, there will be awards for the following nominations: best song, best national-war song, best performance. Along with the festival jury, there will be a jury composed of laureates from former 'April' festivals. There will also be a viewer's choice award and a 'His Own Among His Own' award, which will be awarded to a singer chosen by a private vote."
