Blood group
In brief: the most popular 'Kino' album. Recorded in 1986-88 at home studio by of Tsoi, Kasparyan, Gurianov, Tikhomirov (bass, ex-'Jungli'); with the participation of Andrew Sigle; mastered at Yansheeva studio. The song 'Blood Group' becomes one of the greatest 'Kino' hits, especially after Rashid Nugmanov's movie 'Igla' ('Trainspotting', Russian style) - Tsoi was the composer of the movie and played the main part in it. No bonus tracks, this album doesn't need any.
Quots: 'It is probably better than the others. At least it is more urgent. But there are lots of slips in it. We wanted to re-record it, but than decided that if we are going to re-record our songs all the time... you know...' (Tsoi)
'I'd say that 'Kino' has released its best album and one of the best album in soviet rock-music. I like this album a lot, but the main thing is that this album leads our music to the higher stage. The stage of courageous civic responsibility - although I do not like those pathetic words'. (Zhitinsky)
'Ay me! Hail thou, rock'n'roll existence!' (Gunnitsky on absolutely different story)
Feelings: more pathetical than ironical, though a very sincere album. .whor КИНО .titlr Группа крови .datr 1998/12/06 .author Ксения РОЖДЕСТВЕНСКАЯ .reviewalbum
