Leonid Fedorov and Oleg Garkusha, "Auktyon" leaders, in 1986 appeared to be more comedians than philosophers. "Come Back to Sorrento" is an audioshow of a kind, it makes the audience to recall school theatre performances. The band, with its distinctive style and energy, resembles in "Sorrento" a group of cheerful teenagers who've decided to have some fun while strict father is away. Still their style is not fully-developed here, so the album is not as perfect as "Auktyon" later releases. This release was the first "Auktyon" experience of studio work, and it was recorded in different studios. Album top-hits ("Money is Just Paper" and "Wolf-woman") seem too straight today. There are several nice tricks in this album - for example, drunken "Come Back to Sorrento", selflessly sung by Sergey Rogozhin, or children's voices in "What Should We Do". But, alas, in this early version of "Auktyon" there is no wild anguish that attracts the band's fans today. Still unexpected arrangements, mixing of genres, Paul Eluard's poem and nostalgic love song that has given the title to the whole album - all this shows "Auktyon"'s individuality.
