Ветераны английского тяжелого рока Motorhead - великая всеобщая мешанина противоречий. Говорят, все их песни однообразны чуть ли ни до полной одинковости. Однако мы легко отличаем их друг от друга. А некоторые из сочинений группы продолжают становиться радиохитами и по сей день. Говорят, ни один из прошедших через группу музыкантов толком не умел играть. Но сотни и тысячи рок-музыкантов по всему миру готовы часами рассказывать о том, как повлияла эта громкая и гордая команда на их выбор жизненного пути.
Основавший группу в 1975 году басист Иен Фрейзер Килмистер (Ian Fraser Kilmister) по прозвищу Лемми (Lemmy, род. 24 декабря 1945 года) имел за плечами богатый опыт игры в гаражной группе The Rockin' Vickers и психоделическом составе Hawkwind. Кроме того, некоторое время он даже был одним из дорожных менеджеров The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Кстати, Hawkwind были первой группой, где Лемми играл на басу - в The Rockin' Vickers он был гитаристом. Несколько анархическая аккордовая техника…
